Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibility
Great White Energy Services and its subsidiaries value above all else the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees, contractors and third parties and are committed to protection of the environment for present and future generations. Along with these values comes the responsibility to provide and monitor the effectiveness of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs.
To fulfill this responsibility, Great White will:
- Give HSE matters top priority in every business decision we make and every activity we perform.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as customer requirements, and adopt relevant industry standards to ensure protection of HSE.
- Train and educate employees in good HSE practices. Provide proper personal protective equipment to employees and provide necessary safeguards to the maximum extent practicable.
- Solicit, encourage and facilitate employee involvement in HSE programs to aid in the ongoing goal of continued improvement.
- Investigate every accident, as well as incident or near miss, promptly and thoroughly to determine cause(s) and take the necessary step(s) to eliminate the cause(s).
- Establish HSE goals, as well as recognize outstanding safety attitudes, behavior, and performance.
- Conduct regular reviews, audits, or inspections to monitor and ensure that HSE policies and practices are performing as intended or required by law.
